We’re just a few days away from the biggest show on turf. The Super Bowl is known as one of the biggest events on television and after last year’s game set a new record for viewership, the 2024 contest is set to blow that record out of the water. With something for everyone, this years Super Bowl will have: a spicy rematch from Super Bowl 54, an Usher halftime performance, the usual commercials, and, of course, Taylor Swift may be in attendance.

With so much on the line the only question left is who will take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy? We’ll find out soon enough when the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers take the gridiron at Allegiant Stadium this Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.

When is the Super Bowl?

Pregame coverage for the Super Bowl starts at 1:30 p.m. ET, and Reba McEntire, Post Malone, and Andra Day will all chip in for pregame performances. The big game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. You won’t want to miss this one!

Super Bowl predictions

Looking ahead to Super Bowl Sunday, it’s clear we’re likely in for a nail-biter. The 49ers have a razor-thin 1.5-point edge. That said, most pundits have learned not to question Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the Kansas City Chiefs. They’ve proved throughout the playoffs that they can win as underdogs, and many are expecting them to be the first team to repeat since the New England Patriots did it in 2004 and 2005.

What Channel is the Super Bowl on?

Broadcast rights for this year’s Super Bowl fall to CBS/Paramount, and that will give viewers a few options for where they watch the game. CBS will air Super Bowl LVIII and stream it concurrently on Paramount Plus. At the same time, Nickelodeon will show a family-friendly version with Nick characters and other entertainment. Here’s where you can find these channels on major streaming services.

Watch on Hulu + Live TV (Our preferred service)

Hulu + Live TV offers all the Super Bowl action, plus much more. A subscription costs $76.99 and includes more than 90 channels, along with Disney Plus and ESPN Plus for plenty of extra live sports and on-demand entertainment. This is the only all-in-one streaming package that includes this much live TV and on-demand content, and it’s a great option for sports fans. The downsides? Hulu + Live TV doesn’t offer regional sports networks (RSNs) in most markets, and there’s no free trial.

Watch on DIRECTV STREAM

For a more complete live sports streaming service, DIRECTV STREAM is a great choice. You can watch the Super Bowl with just the basic Entertainment plan, which starts at $79.99 a month. However, if you want a full lineup of RSNs and major national networks, we recommend the Choice plan, which costs $108.99 a month. DIRECTV STREAM is one of only two platforms that includes RSNs in most markets. There are two additional plans with more networks and premium channels for $119.99 to $164.99 a month, and you can try any plan free for five days

Watch on Fubo

If you truly want a sports-first platform, look no further than Fubo. The Super Bowl is only the tip of the iceberg here. The basic Pro plan features more than 30 sports networks, including RSNs. That costs about $95 a month —  $79.99 plus a regional sports fee of up to $14.99 — less than DIRECTV STREAM’s Choice plan despite offering more live sports. Note that Fubo does have some important gaps — you won’t find TBS, TNT, or TruTV here, and those channels carry a lot of NBA, MLB, NHL, and NCAA basketball action. If you’re on the fence, Fubo offers a free trial of up to seven days.

Watch on YouTube TV

YouTube TV is another great option for watching Super Bowl LVIII, especially if you want a broad mix of news and entertainment on top of your favorite sports coverage. The base plan features more than 110 popular channels, including CBS and Nickelodeon, and it starts at $72.99. There are no RSNs here, and that may be a deal breaker for some fans. Still, YouTube TV’s excellent channel selection, unlimited cloud DVR, and an impressive lineup of add-ons make it a strong contender in the streaming wars. You can try the platform for free for up to 14 days.

Watch on Paramount Plus

You don’t necessarily have to sign up (and pay the cost) for a full-blown live TV streaming service to watch Super Bowl LVII. With rights falling to CBS this year, you can also watch the game on Paramount Plus. This over-the-top platform from ViacomCBS is known for on-demand content from networks like CBS, BET, MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, SHOWTIME, and the Smithsonian Channel. But it also carries live sports, including this year’s Super Bowl and plenty of top-level soccer action from around the globe. Paramount Plus offers a free trial of seven days, and plans cost $5.99 or $11.99 a month after your trial expires.
