Draymond Green’s ejection brings Stephen Curry to tears amid Golden State Warriors’ challenging season

Last night Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors were visiting the Orlando Magic on the second night of a back-to-back, but Draymond Green’s participation would be very short-lived. After receiving two quick technicals, leading to an ejection, Green was already booted from the game less than four minutes after it started.

Keep in mind, in most years, this wouldn’t be a big deal for the typically playoff-bound Warriors. This year has been much different, with Dub Nation still trying to claw their way into the postseason in the Western Conference.

Yet, knowing how much is at stake for the 10th-seeded Warriors, the gravity of the situation wasn’t lost on Steph Curry, who could be seen shaking his head in disgust just shortly after Green’s ejection.

Not only did Curry get frustrated, he also got emotional and was even seen crying a bit. While he did his best to try to hide his tears, cameras caught everything.

Amazingly, Green’s absence didn’t really seem to impact the Warriors. In fact, some might argue it galvanized them, with Curry taking on an even bigger burden. While he wasn’t the leading scorer, he did provide two final daggers to ensure Orlando didn’t have any last-second Magic up their sleeves.

Andrew Wiggins led the team with 23 points, chipping in 13 points in the fourth quarter, and Curry ended up with 17 points. While Green’s ejection led to controversy, the players that remained still got the job done, defeating the Magic 101-93, and that’s all that really matters for Golden State.
