Still looking for a job with the preseason getting going, former Pro Bowl cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie confirms that he worked out for the Seattle Seahawks on Friday.
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie tells me he worked out for the #Seahawks Friday am. DRC said it went “real good. They were impressed.” He said, he does not currently have a work out scheduled w/t Raiders, adding Oakland “just called & asked was I in shape, like a lot of other teams.”

It was previously reported that the 32-year-old Rodgers-Cromartie would get a look from a Seahawks squad that’s in desperate need of veteran reinforcements in the secondary. That’s now come to fruition.
A Pro Bowler with the Arizona Cardinals back in 2009, DRC is coming off a career-worst performance. He recorded 48 tackles with just one pass defended and zero interceptions for the New York Giants last season. It lead to his release from the team during the spring.
Though, Rodgers-Cromartie did combine for 34 passes defended and nine interceptions in his previous two seasons with the Giants.
Having moved on from both Jeremy Lane and Richard Sherman this offseason, Seattle is certainly in the market for a veteran corner. Rodgers-Cromartie would fit that bill.
