NFL free agent Johnny Manziel, recently released by the CFL — specifically the Montreal Allouettes — is already back to practicing football.
Manziel was spotted working with his trainer, George Whitfield in San Diego, Ca. making some impressive passes, courtesy of TMZ Sports.
Manziel was recently released by the Montreal Alouettes and barred from the entire CFL after reportedly violating the terms of his contract with the league. He said after he was cut that he plans to “explore new options within the United States.”
Obviously, the AAF comes to mind. Manziel is certainly a player who would add a ton of spice to this newly created spring league.
Though, an eventual return to the NFL is likely Manziel’s end goal.
