The Chicago Bulls are in the midst of an absolutely horrible season. One saving grace could very well be the improvement of second-year forward Lauri Markkanen, who might very well be the future face of the franchise.
That was on full display Tuesday night against the Brooklyn Nets in New York City. Check out the 21-year-old Finland native throw down an absolutely massive dunk while rim-running late in the first quarter.

Not too often do we see a 7-foot gazelle be able to contain himself as he goes full-speed ahead at the rim. This was a super impressive play from the second-year star.
Markkanen entered Tuesday night’s game averaging 17.1 points and 7.4 rebounds on the season. For the sake of downtrodden Bulls fans everywhere, let’s hope this is one of many highlights down the road.
