The New England Patriots wanted to get wide receiver Antonio Brown involved early in Week 2 and that’s exactly what they did with his first catch as part of the Patriots.
Quarterback Tom Brady went his way right out of the gate with Brown’s first catch being a quick pass out of the slot for a 17-yard gain then receiving congratulations from multiple teammates.
New England kept looking to feed Brown on the drive and he played a pivotal role in moving the offense into the red zone with three receptions for 36 receiving yards
Brown remains one of the NFL’s best wide receivers and even with limited time to learn New England’s system, he is already making an early impact. The All-Pro receiver will put up even bigger numbers once he gets settled in.
