WATCH: ‘Streaker’ livens up U.S. Open at Torrey Pines

PGA: U.S. Open - Practice Round

As South African’s Louis Oosthuizen and Jon Rahm from Spain were dueling it out in the final round of the 2021 U.S. Open in Southern California, a fan in attendance decided to do his thing on the 13th.

While we can’t necessarily call the man a streaker as he was sporting something resembling clothing, the unnamed individual took to the green to hit a couple shots before ultimately being tackled by security on hands at Torrey Pines.

This might actually qualify as a first in major golf tournaments. As you can see, he ran on to the green and was able to get a few shots off before a security officer in a golf cart was able to end the shenanigans. Liquid courage seemed to be involved.

This incident capped off what was a strange Round 4 of the U.S. Open. That included Bryson DeChambeau almost hitting a ball into a 12-pack of beer. You can’t make this up.

No word yet if the unnamed “streaker” had consumed some of those beers before taking to the green.
