WATCH: Philadelphia 76ers fans troll Trae Young after Atlanta Hawks star is called for a technical

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Atlanta Hawks

Atlanta Hawks star guard Trae Young did not start out Game 7 against the 76ers in Philadelphia swimmingly. In the midst of an historical first NBA Playoff appearance, Young started the game out 1-of-11 shooting.

Apparently, the All-Star was growing frustrated throughout the first half. That included him being given a technical after arguing with officials at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Immediately after, you could hear 76ers fans troll him with a chant that’s become synonymous with Trae Young and road playoff games this year.

This is something that we saw from New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden during Atlanta’s first-round matchup with its conference rivals. That situation got pretty ugly in quick fashion with a fan spitting on Trae Young during a game.

Meanwhile, fans in Philadelphia have also drawn criticism. That included an incident between a since-banned fanatic and Washington Wizards guard Russell Westbrook in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

As for Trae Young and his Hawks, they are looking to earn their first conference finals appearance since 2014-15.
