The Phoenix Suns have reportedly traded small forward TJ Warren to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, ahead of the 2019 NBA Draft.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the deal.
Per Wojnarowski, the deal was primarily about unloading Warren’s contract.
Warren, 25, was the 14th overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft out of North Carolina. He has become quite a scoring machine in the past couple of years, averaging 19.6 points per game in 2017-18 and 18 points per game last season.
Needless to say, the trade should immediately bolster Indiana’s lineup.
