The Minnesota Timberwolves and guard Mike Conley Jr. have agreed on a two-year extension worth $21 million, ESPN and The Athletic reported Monday.

The extension keeps Conley out of free agency and runs through the 2025-26 season.

Conley, 36, is averaging 10.6 points and 6.4 assists in 50 games (all starts) this season, his second in Minnesota since being getting traded to the Wolves in February 2023. He’s shooting 44.2 percent from the 3-point line.

Conley averages 14.5 points and 5.7 assists in 17 seasons with Memphis (2007-19), Utah (2019-23) and the Wolves. The Grizzlies selected Conley No. 4 overall in the 2007 draft out of Ohio State.
