Mired in a six-game losing streak, the Denver Broncos are reportedly making another quarterback change. This time, the team is going to Paxton Lynch.
It is worth nothing that Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post responded, saying that to her knowledge, the quarterbacks have not been informed.
Be that as it may. As long as Lynch is healthy, the time to make the change is now. There is absolutely no reason to think that Denver’s long term answer at quarterback is Brock Osweiler or Trevor Siemian. Both have provided ample evidence to the contrary.
Lynch’s NFL production thus far isn’t anything to write home about, either. But it’s at least from a smaller sample size.
If Lynch bombs over the final six weeks, then the Broncos will know that they need to go quarterback shopping in the offseason. But as things stand right now, Lynch is the only quarterback on the Denver roster with a chance of being the quarterback of the future.
