Report: Mychal Kendricks suspended eight games

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Mychal Kendricks was currently suspended indefinitely by the NFL after pleading guilty to insider trading, but that is changing.

Kendricks met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss his reinstatement. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who also met with Goodell about this recently, passed that information along to reporters during the week.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed it was the first time Kendricks has spoken to Goodell specifically about this, though it was his third overall visit to NFL offices since he was charged. He also reports that Kendricks explained to Goodell that he never ended up profiting from the insider trading, that he paid back the money and expressed his remorse.

Seattle signed Kendricks in mid-September after he was released by the Cleveland Browns, who felt he had misled them about the charges he was facing.
