Razvan Puiu, Stokes among those rounding out FIFAe World Cup field

Romania’s Razvan “Razvan Puiu” Puiu and Tom “Stokes” Stokes of the United Kingdom were among those who competed in the upper bracket of Group C and qualified for the FIFAe World Cup on Sunday.

Razvan Puiu clubbed Italian Lucio “HHezerS” Vecchione 8-4, while Stokes beat Roee “Roee Feldman” Feldman of Israel 3-2. Brazilian Paulo “PHzin” Chaves and Australia’s Mike “MikeJ” Jameson also qualified out of the upper bracket in Group C.

Tiago “Darkley11” Pires of Portugal and Egypt’s John “K1John” Mouneer punched their tickets to the FIFAe World Cup via Group C’s lower bracket.

Group D also produced six qualifiers on Sunday, with Denmark’s Anders “Vejrgang” Vejrgang, Mark “Mark11” Zakhary of Australia, Frenchman Lucas “Leks” Lekhal and Manuel “Manuel” Bachoore of the Netherlands hailing from the upper bracket.

Daniel “DFernandes” Fernandes of Portugal and Saudi Arabia’s Ahmad “AboMakkah” Mujahid were the lower-bracket qualifiers.

The 24-participant field is now set for the FIFAe World Cup:
