Now jettisoned from two football teams in less than two years, New York Jets wide receiver Percy Harvin is facing a ton of questions and criticism about what exactly happened with the Seattle Seahawks.
Talking with New York Post’s Bart Hubbuch on Friday, it doesn’t appear that Harvin himself is ready to change.
That in and of itself could be a problematic sign for his new team. It’s either two completely different franchises were in the wrong here or Harvin does have some character concerns.
Harvin was sent packing by the Seahawks amid reports that he got into scuffles with teammates and didn’t acclimate well to the team’s franchise signal caller Russell Wilson. If Harvin’s not willing to address this behavior, it could spell doom for his NFL career.
Harvin will make his Jets debut against the Buffalo Bills at home on Sunday.
