It doesn’t look like New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is going to let a contract stalemate with the team bleed over to a holdout.
Having already attended the Giants’ first set of offseason activities, OBJ is now reportedly set to attend OTAs starting this coming Monday.
I'm told #Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle) will attend voluntary OTA's, per source. The #Giants begin Phase 3 of the offseason conditioning program Monday, May 21st. Beckham will show, even as the star receiver & the team have yet to come to terms on a contract extension.

It was just a short month ago that we expected the star receiver to be traded. He’s been angling to become the game’s highest-paid receiver, and the Giants have pushed back against the idea in the past.
We’re not too sure what all this means. It could be an indication that Beckham and the Giants are closer to coming to terms on a contract extension. It could also be OBJ’s way of not letting a contract stalemate get in the way of helping the Giants overcome a disastrous 2017 campaign.
The former first-round pick is set to make a base salary of $8.5 million this coming season. That’s far below market value.
