Boasting three first-round picks and two second rounders in April’s NFL Draft, most envision that the Miami Dolphins will use these pieces to move up and down the board.

Selecting No. 5 overall, Miami has primarily been linked to Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Though, that might have cooled off some recently.

As it is, Miami is said to be willing to play make a trade with the NFL Scouting Combine starting in Indianapolis this week.

According to Bleacher Report’s Mike Freeman, at least one NFC general manager indicates that the Fins have already been extremely active in talking with other teams.

“They’re shaping up to be among the biggest factors in this draft,” the unnamed GM said.

This should not come as too much of a surprise. By trading former first-round picks Laremy Tunsil and Minkah Fitzpatrick, among others, Miami has made it clear the team will be active.

That will likely include the Dolphins moving up from the fifth selection for a quarterback.

It’s certainly something to keep an eye on.
