The holiday season may be over, but Mark Cuban is making sure Dallas Mavericks employees start off the 2024 year on the right foot.

On Friday, an email sent to Mavericks team employees revealed the organization’s generous plan to pay roughly $35 million in bonuses. The sum will be dispersed throughout several employees, taking into account how long they have been loyal to the Mavericks.

The email states each of the employees will receive an unknown amount in the “very near future.”

“As a thank you for all your hard work making the Mavs an amazing organization, each of you will be receiving a bonus from myself, and the Adelson and Dumont families. In total, we will be playing out approximately $35 plus million dollars in bonuses to you all. To calculate your bonus, we used a framework that took into consideration how long you have worked for the Mavs. You will receive your bonus in the very near future. I’m excited to continue our work making the Mavs the best franchise in all of sports!”

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban

Cuban, recently sold his majority stake in the Mavericks to Miriam Adelson and her family, who are the biggest shareholders of Las Vegas Sands, a casino operator. Yet, Cuban has retained some ownership of the Mavericks organization and will still be handling the basketball side of team management while Adelson’s team focuses on the business aspects.
