The BIG3 basketball league, led by music mogul Ice Cube, is slated to begin action this upcoming weekend. Cube was on hand in New York Ciry, where TMZ Sports caught up with him to ask about the league and who he projects to come away with the title.
In the process, he apparently broke some rather big news.
“It was the Killer 3’s (led by Chauncey and Stephen Jackson) for a minute but since Chauncey took that job, it might change,” Cube said about who he envisions to win the title.
Chauncey Billups has been undergoing interviews for the vacant Cavaliers’ general manager job after the team moved on from David Griffin earlier this week.

Does Cube know something the rest of us don’t know? Apparently.
This in no way confirms that Billups has indeed taken the Cavaliers’ job. But it’s a clear indication that Cube is preparing for the BIG3 season without the former NBA All-Star.
We will have further updates as they become available.
