So much for winning, Detroit Pistons streak ends at one win

Pistons streak: Detroit loses to Houston

After putting together two good games, one an overtime loss, the other a win to end a 28-game losing streak, the Detroit Pistons fell back into the habits that caused that long losing streak to begin with.

The Pistons were blasted by the Houston Rockets 136-113.

Detroit trailed 59-55 at halftime, but didn’t show up in the second half, and with six minutes left in the game, Houston had built the lead up to 30 points (123-93).

Turnovers have been an issues for the Pistons all season and they had 17 in this game.

Cade Cunningham had put up some good numbers during the losing streak, but he had one of his worst games of the season, going 3-of-16 for six points. He was 0-of-5 from 3-point range.

The Pistons are still waiting for him to live up to being selected No. 1 in the NBA Draft.

Detroit’s losing streak ended Saturday against the Toronto Raptors, in a 129-127 win.

That left the Pistons tied with the all-time losing streak with the Philadelphia 76ers.
