The 2018 season was delayed a day for Raider Nation as the Raiders won’t kick off the season until Monday night but we prepared for it on this week’s CBS Sports Radio 1140-AM show.
On the eve of the start of the 2018 season for the Raiders, we get a report from our contributor Vinny Bonsignore of The Athletic on the Los Angeles Rams. Bonsignore doesn’t feel the Rams have many (if any) weaknesses and the Raiders will have a tough time coming out on top.
Next, we talked with Pro Football Focus’ Austin Gayle on our radio show about the numbers behind the matchups between the Rams and Raiders.
Linden King joined us to tell us about his time as a Raider and his current charitable work.
We also welcomed in our legal expert Michael Troiano who talked about some recent high-profile NFL arrests including Mychael Hendricks who pleaded guilty recently to insider training.
We closed the radio show welcoming in two NFL alumni in former Raiders linebacker Linden King and former Dolphins linebacker Morlon Greenwood. King shared some of his Al Davis and Los Angeles Raiders stories and both shared news about a charity event they have upcoming at Brooklyn Bowl.
