It’s a positive step to see Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton posting cute, jovial photos after catching heat the past several days about being moody in his post-Super Bowl press conference.
This sweet capture features Newton’s baby son Chosen, snuggled between his two NFL Honor award trophies which he just received in the mail.
Newton’s Instagram message reads
“myBAB1ES came in the MA1L today!! but I’m missing the1 iWANTED theMOST (SBmvp)….:( WELP!!iGUESS myM1ddle trophy will do forNOW!!”
We must note Newton’s subtle use of his No. 1 in place of many I’s in his post.
Newton’s two featured trophies were awarded to him for winning the NFL’s MVP and Offensive Player of the Year awards the night before Super Bowl 50.
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller proudly holds and perhaps sleeps with the missing trophy that would have completed Newton’s trio.
Newton’s post is a very good reminder of what a truly amazing athlete he really is. Being that he is only 26-years old and loaded with talent from head-to-toe, Newton likely hasn’t played in his last Super Bowl.
It is also cool to see that Newton’s mood appears to have lightened just a bit as well.
