Under Armour has cleverly designed the cleats to display the emblems from the U.S. Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard.
Per TMZ Sports, the cleats took 30 hours to create. Harper will don the cleats on his home field when the Nationals take on the Milwaukee Brewers On Monday, July 4.
A few months back, Harper claimed he wanted to make baseball “fun” again. These cleats are certainly a fine demonstration of his efforts and a fabulous way to give a shout-out to the U.S. Military at the same time.
