Browns GM John Dorsey could trade back up into first round after OBJ trade

John Dorsey Browns

The Cleveland Browns have been incredibly aggressive going after players they want since John Dorsey became general manager last year, and that trend could continue during the 2019 NFL Draft.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared Monday morning that Dorsey isn’t adverse to the idea of trading back up into the first round.

Remember, the Browns gave up their first-round pick in the trade that brought Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland.

The first round is absolutely loaded with defensive talent, but some offensive gems will be mined late in Round 1 as well. We imagine Dorsey has a few particular players he’s be interested in making another bold to acquire, and it would be fascinating to know who they are.

Even before the draft, it’s clear Cleveland is now the team everyone will be gunning for in the competitive AFC North. They are absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball following an offseason full of personnel moves as Dorsey continues to reshape his roster.
