Rory McIlroy had a five-foot putt for par on the 14th hole at TPC Sawgrass Sunday when Jim Nance mentioned on air that McIlroy hadn’t made a bogey on the back nine all week.
And, of course, McIlroy proceeded to miss the short putt, posting a bogey.
Announcer: “Rory hasn’t made a bogey all week on the back 9.”

The bogey was costly, as he went from one shot ahead of the field in the Players Championship to being tied up atop the leaderboard once again at 14-under par. Even worse, his drive off the 15th went wide right into a bunker.
