On the very first play of Thursday night’s game between UCF and Connecticut, Aaron Robinson went down, stayed down and had to be stretchered off the field.

Announcers calling the game noted that Robinson was able to move his legs, but the medical staff on the field was being extremely careful not to move his spine.

Robinson did give everyone a thumbs up on the way to the locker room.

Robinson is a redshirt sophomore out of Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was a 3-star recruit in the the 2016 class, and played in 13 games for Alabama during the 2016 season.
