Report: Alabama LB Dylan Moses needs foot surgery, likely out for CFP

Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses

The Alabama Crimson Tide have lost a ton of defensive talent to injury this year, and now it appears freshman linebacker Dylan Moses can be added to the list.

According to al.com, Moses likely suffered a season-ending injury to his foot. A five-star signee this year, the freshman linebacker suffered the injury during a Monday practice session. 247Sports.com has since reported that Moses will need surgery to repair the damage, indicating that it is a season-ending injury.

Alabama is currently preparing to face Clemson in the Sugar Bowl on Jan. 1. Moses started two games this year for the Crimson Tide due to the other injuries to the team’s linebacking corps. He finished the season with 30 tackles. 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and one interception.
