Cowboys DE David Irving to miss third consecutive game with concussion

Dallas Cowboys defensive end David Irving is facing a four-game ban.

The Dallas Cowboys are heading into Sunday’s must-win game against the Seattle Seahawks without pass rusher David Irving, who is out with a concussion.

This marks the third straight game Irving will miss due to the concussion he suffered early this month. Per David Moore of the Dallas Morning News, Irving is still experiencing headaches due to the brain injury.

The 24-year-old out of Iowa State was having a tremendous season for Dallas before being injured. In eight games, he racked up seven sacks, one forced fumble and 22 tackles.

The good news for the Cowboys is that Ezekiel Elliott is back and looks to be in the best shape of his career. Dallas needs to win to stay alive in the playoff hunt, heading into Week 16 with a record of 8-6.
