Multiple NFL teams still view Russell Wilson as a starting QB

It appears we’ve seen the last of Russell Wilson with the Denver Broncos. The Seattle Seahawks seemingly had no issues moving on from their Super Bowl-winning quarterback, and now the Broncos are getting ready to do the same after getting less-than-ideal results after their blockbuster trade.

We may not know who the Broncos will turn to after Wilson leaves, and we may not know until late April when the NFL Draft gets underway. As for Wilson, we may know where he’ll be playing shortly after the Broncos officially pull the plug on the nine-time Pro Bowl QB.

Some may think just because the Denver Broncos are done with Russell Wilson, that the 35-year-old will have a hard time finding work as a starting QB in 2024. Yet, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

According to ESPN’s NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, there are multiple teams who still believe in Russ.

“I’ve talked to several teams who still believe that he’s a full-time starter. There’s a job for him somewhere.”

The end of Wilson’s time with the Broncos is expected to arrive in the near future; the only questions are whether he’ll be cut or traded and which team he’ll take his talent to next. Based on reports, he’ll have no shortage of interest.
