New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is living a life many could only dream about, but even billionaires have idols. For Kraft, Rob Gronkowski is living the dream.

The All-Pro tight end was awarded with the 2016 Ron Burton Community Service Award, which goes to the Patriots player that “exemplifies being a model for charitable work in the community,” per Stephen Hewitt of the Boston Herald.

Best known for being one of the most prominent party animals in America from summer to summer, Gronkowski is an active member in his community and gives generously to many charitable endeavors.

For his part, New England’s dynamic playmaking tight end pointed to the Kraft family as his model for giving back.

“Ever since I’ve been here, following the Krafts, the whole Kraft family, from Myra Kraft, Mr. Kraft, all his sons, seeing everyone lead by example, how they give back to the community every single week, was just an honor to see,” Gronkowski said. “I just wanted to be a part of it and give back to the community in a positive way.”

Kraft, speaking about Gronkowski’s giving nature, also revealed his fondness in a unique way.

“Despite battling his fair share of injuries, he has continued to be an active contributor in the community,” Patriots chairman and CEO Robert Kraft said. “His smile and laugh are infectious as he brings joy to everyone he meets. He’s truly the life of any party. Really.

“In the seven years I’ve known him, I’ve never known him to have a bad day. When I grow up, I want to be him in my next life.”
