Perhaps talks of Jimmy Graham’s displeasure regarding being traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Seattle Seahawks were a tad overblown, after all.
On Thursday morning, less than a day after defensive lineman Akiem Nicks was traded from the Saints to the New England Patriots, Graham tweeted and then deleted a message to Nicks.
Thankfully, Christopher Dabe of Nola.com was able to capture the message before it disappeared into the ether.

It’s impossible to know exactly what’s behind a message like this.
Perhaps Graham really was disgruntled after being shipped to Seattle, or perhaps he saw the ship starting to sink and was happy to find a new vessel upon which he could continue riding high.
One thing is certain: The Saints appear to be in the midst of a downward spiral with an 0-3 start to the season. And, quarterback Drew Brees — who was already showing signs of age in 2014 — might never be the same guy who passed for over 5,000 yards four times.
At this point, it seems safe to say Graham is happy to be in Seattle, especially after breaking out last weekend with seven catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.
