World No. 1 Iga Swiatek took care of unfinished business in style on Sunday, dispatching two opponents to win the BNP Paribas Warsaw Open in her native Poland.

Swiatek was up 6-1, 5-5 in Saturday’s semifinal match against Yanina Wickmayer of Belgium before it was postponed by darkness.

In Sunday’s continuation, Swiatek completed the match in two sets, winning 6-1, 7-6 (6). Waiting for her to play the finals was Laura Siegemund of Germany, and Swiatek breezed past her 6-0, 6-1 in 68 minutes.

It was the second career win over Siegemund in two matches for Swiatek, who broke her opponent five times while never facing a break point herself.

Swiatek didn’t drop a set in the tournament as she won for the fourth time this season and captured her 15th career title.

No. 2 seed Elisabetta Cocciaretto of Italy defeated unseeded Clara Burel of France 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 to win her first WTA championship.

On the clay courts in Switzerland, Cocciaretto rallied from a break down in the third set. Trailing 4-2, Cocciaretto rolled off four straight game wins to grab the victory in two hours, 43 minutes.

It was yet another come-from-behind win this week for the Italian, who was victorious against Celine Naef in the first round and Anna Bondar in the semifinal round on Saturday despite facing match point in both.
