You won’t believe how much Super Bowl tickets cost

The New England Patriots defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship Game. Shortly after that victory, we got a sense of just how much it will cost to see Tom Brady and company on Super Bowl Sunday.

Mind you, this is the cost without even knowing who New England will play. Although, as Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports pointed out, the Minnesota Vikings being the host team is factoring into it.

Indeed, Minnesota is hosting the game, has never won a Super Bowl, and hasn’t appeared in 41 years.

But even so, the Philadelphia Eagles are a big market team, have also never won, and haven’t been to the big game in 13 years. So, Super Bowl Sunday isn’t exactly old hat for them.

Either way, don’t expect the tickets to be cheap, no matter how the NFC Championship Game finishes.
