William Sawalich continues adding to an incredibly diverse schedule across every NASCAR level in 2022.
At 17-years-old, Sawalich is not yet eligible to race on the largest tracks on the schedule but is practically running every race across the Xfinity Series, Truck Series and ARCA that he is permitted to until his 18th birthday in early October.
One year after winning the ARCA East championship with Joe Gibbs Racing, the combination will run it back in 2024 and will race in all but six races across the ARCA national championship as well — with intermediates and superspeedways the notable exception.

Sawalich is driving the Gibbs No. 19 Xfinity Series entry for the final three races of the season upon turning 18 at Homestead, Martinsville and Phoenix. He is part of a four-car eight driver effort in the second-tier division next season.
Announced on Thursday is that Sawalich will also return to Tricon Garage No. 1 in the Truck Series for nine races at IRP (July 19), Richmond (August 10), Milwaukee (August 25), Bristol (September 19), Homestead-Miami (October 26), Martinsville (November 1) and Phoenix (November 8).
Sawalich also won the prestigious All American 400 Super Late Model race in November at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and will likely run a handful of races in that category in 2024 as well.
Sawalich, a major Toyota driving prospect, is the son of Starkey hearing CEO and president Brandon Sawalich – a major hearing aid developer based in the United States. The driver carries with him funding from the family company.
