The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Ryan Reaves from the New York Rangers on Wednesday in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

The 35-year-old veteran has zero points and 12 penalty minutes in 12 games this season, his second campaign with the Rangers. He ranks fourth on the team with 44 hits.

Reaves has posted 114 points (54 goals, 60 assists) and 992 penalty minutes in 767 games with the St. Louis Blues (2010-17), Pittsburgh Penguins (2017-18), Vegas Golden Knights (2018-21) and Rangers.

A fifth-round draft selection by St. Louis in 2005, Reaves ranks third among active players in hits (2,645) and sixth in penalty minutes.
