WATCH: Will Blackmon intercepts Eli Manning on crazy tip-drill play

During Sunday’s game pitting the New York Giants against NFC East rival Washington, cornerback Will Blackmon came down with a crazy interception on a tipped pass from Eli Manning to Dwayne Harris.

Harris almost came down with Manning’s pass into tight coverage but was absolutely rocked by a defender. The ball popped out and Blackmon made an acrobatic play to come down with the ball.

Harris was injured on the play and wasn’t moving for a while. Thankfully he did walk off under his own power, but he won’t soon forget that brutal blow he endured on the interception.

It was the second turnover¬†of the game for Manning — neither was his fault — and gave Washington excellent field position, which the franchise couldn’t capitalize on with a blocked field goal a handful of plays later.¬†Ultimately, the two turnovers made no difference at all in the early outcome, and the score was 0-0 following the failed field goal attempt by Washington.
