The Golden State Warriors are set to play their final regular-season game at Oracle Arena, and Stephen Curry used the opportunity to honor one of his old teammates, Monta Ellis.
As Curry arrived at Oracle Sunday ahead of the team’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, he wore Ellis’ No. 8 jersey.
Ellis was already a member of Golden State when Curry came into the league back in 2009. They played together as teammates for three seasons before Ellis was traded by Golden State to Milwaukee as part of the deal that brought Andrew Bogut to the Warriors.
Clearly, Curry has fond memories of his time spent with Ellis.
