While not much went right for the Pittsburgh Steelers during Thursday’s game, wide receiver James Washington provided reason for optimism thanks to an outstanding catch.
In the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, Washington made a leaping grab in the end zone to steal the ball away from cornerback Demetri Goodson.
The 22-year-old receiver held onto the ball with one hand then secured it and got both feet in for the touchdown.
It’s another positive step forward for Pittsburgh’s second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. After he caught two passes for 44 yards in his NFL debut last week, Washington can now add his first touchdown to his name.
