While Bryce Harper might not be having his best season with the Philadelphia Phillies, he remains one of the game’s most dangerous hitters when he steps into the box. He proved it again on Friday with an incredible, go-ahead home run against the Atlanta Braves.

In the third inning of a 1-1 game, Harper took a 94-mph fastball and obliterated it into the evening sky. The 431-foot blast screamed off the bat at an incredible 113.3 miles per hour, according to StatCast.

The two-run blast gave the Phillies a 3-1 and hopefully will be the big hit Harper needs to turn things around at the plate after a slow start in June. The 26-year-old entered the night with a .692 OPS this month and just three extra-base hits.

Given the weight of this series against Philadelphia’s division rival, fans will forget about Harper’s recent struggles if he can keep coming up clutch in this series.
