The undermanned Brooklyn Nets are doing everything possible in Game 3 of their first-round series against the defending champion Toronto Raptors Friday afternoon.

Down 2-0 in the series, Brooklyn can’t lose Friday if it has any hopes of making this competitive.

It appears that recently-signed guard Tyler Johnson is doing his best to keep the team in the game. Although, we’re not sure what the goal was here.

Let’s break this down.

  • Johnson was called for a block against Raptors star Marc Gasol.
  • The veteran then tripped his counterpart.
  • Only to argue with the official on hand at Walt Disney World.

Honestly, Gasol is lucky he wasn’t injured here. There’s no room for this in the game of basketball.

As for the Game, Toronto took a seven-point lead into the second quarter. It’s not surprising given who the Nets have been forced to play during their stint in the Orlando bubble.
