While the Maryland Terrapins offense looked dominant in a 79-0 win last in Week 1, few expected the offensive showcase to continue against tougher competition.
Instead, the Terrapins are dismantling Syracuse’s defense and running back Javon Leake added to the blowout with a sensational 64-yard touchdown run to begin the second half.
Leake turned a little gap into an ugly moment for the defense. After making a defender miss, the junior turned on the jets and eviscerated everyone else on Syracuse’s defense for the huge touchdown run.
Maryland’s offense looks unstoppable this season with 128 points scored in less than two quarters. An offense that came into the season without enough recognition is quickly earning it.
