LSU safety Jacoby Stevens made a tremendous play late in the second quarter of Saturday’s game against Mississippi State.
Roaming the middle of the field, he stalked Bulldogs quarterback Garrett Shrader. When the quarterback let the ball go, Stevens leaped into the air and pulled down the ball with one hand.
This outstanding play came shortly after LSU had scored a way-too-easy touchdown on offense, and it set Joe Burrow and Co. up for another touchdown before the half. After the score, LSU led 22-7.
