Khalil Mack made it clear that Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders was personal to him, and in the third quarter he got some revenge.
The Chicago Bears star, who was dumped by Oakland in a trade last year, took advantage of a brutal mistake on a toss sweep by the Raiders. As the ball bounced around on the turf, Mack came swooping in and fell on it for the huge takeaway.
Not long afterward, Chicago took advantage of this turnover with its first touchdown of the game.
Mack’s act of revenge helped the Bears move to 17-7 on the scoreboard and breathed live into his team for the first time all game.
