Earlier on Tuesday, three members of the Golden State Warriors were fined for criticizing officials. That included two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant.
With his team winning by north of 20 points against the Denver Nuggets about midway through the third quarter, Durant found himself in hot water with officials once again.
After believing he was fouled on a three-point attempt, Durant verbally went after official Zach Zarba. The end result was two technical fouls and an ejection for KD.
It’s rather obvious that the Warriors themselves are having issues with officials. Head coach Steve Kerr seemed to be dumbfounded on the bench.
Meanwhile, Draymond Green showed some frustration in the direction of Durant before his teammate was escorted off the court.
One now has to wonder if these issues are going to extend into the playoffs. If so, drama will be the name of the game in Oakland.
