Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor has routinely proven himself as one of the best running backs in college football history. He added a historic accomplishment on Saturday to add to his legendary career.
It came against a fitting opponent. Taylor took the field against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, a team he has dominated in his career, and ran past Hall of Famer Herschel Walker’s record for most rushing yards by a junior.
Taylor has been running through the Cornhuskers in Week 12 and while his record-breaking one might not have been his best run of the day, it only added to his incredible season and memorable career with 5,598 yards and counting.
The Badgers kept feeding Taylor the football after his record-setting rumble and he quickly blew past the 200-yard mark once again. It’s his third game this season with 200-plus rushing yards and the 11th such game in three seasons.
