Houston Rockets guard James Harden is currently playing at an historical level. Just how good has he been? The reigning NBA MVP is nearing a milestone that will see him score 30-plus points in 20 consecutive games. That’s some absolutely absurd stuff.
Taking on the Philadelphia Sixers on MLK Day, Harden continued to dominate the box score. But it was this play that saw him blow past Joel Embiid for a massive dunk that had people in Philly reaching for their cameras.

That’s absolutely absurd stuff right there. Sure Embiid guarding Harden on a switch is not fair to the big man. Even then, the NBA’s top scorer proved that he has a ton of tricks in his bag.
Harden finished the first half with 27 points on 10-of-20 shooting. Despite this, Houston found itself down by 15 points.
