The Oklahoma Sooners are one of the most explosive offenses in college football. It’s easy to see why after watching quarterback Jalen Hurts and receiver Charleston Rambo make incredible plays look routine.

Oklahoma found itself pinned inside its 15-yard line and facing third-and-17. A situation where most teams would take what they could get, Oklahoma unleashed the deep ball.

Hurts had all day to throw in the pocket and once his receiver broke open, Oklahoma’s star quarterback unleashed a dime down the field to Rambo. Of course, the explosive sophomore made defenders miss after the catch to cap off a 74-yard play.

Big plays become so easy for Oklahoma’s offense and it gives its playmakers plenty of opportunities inside the red zone. Hurts, as he always does, took advantage a few plays later by punching it into the end zone himself.

Oklahoma is rolling early against Texas Tech’s defense and appears ready to blowout another opponent. Of course, that’s become the expectation now with Lincoln Riley’s offense the past three seasons.
