This is what college football is all about. Down by seven with one second remaining in the game, Central Michigan quarterback Cooper Rush hit Jesse Kroll on what was a Hail Mary from the team’s 20 yard line.
Kroll lateraled to Deon Butler who then threw the ball back Courtney Williams who then lateraled to Titus Davis who then took it the final 17 yards for the touchdown.
After entering the fourth quarter down 35 points against Western Kentucky, Central Michigan then decided to go for two and the win. Unfortunately, it fell incomplete in the back of the end zone, giving Western Kentucky the one-point win.
It was still one of the greatest plays of the college football season.
