We wouldn’t normally think of groundskeeper at an MLB stadium as a terribly dangerous job. But one man who works at St. Louis’ Busch Stadium might not agree.
In 2017, Lucas Hackmann, who works as a groundskeeper for the St. Louis Cardinals, got scratched by a cat who had gotten onto the field. On Sunday, Hackmann was behind home plate during the ceremonial first pitch. His string of bad luck continued.

That could have been better. We can only hope that Lucas is getting hazard pay for this. We’re also afraid to see what might be next.
