If the first play of the NFL preseason is a precursor to what the regular season will bring, buckle up. Receiving the opening kick off of the preseason slate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers return man Kenny Bell fumbled the ball over to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles were in the end zone three plays later.

Bell is in his second year out of Nebraska but spent the entire 2015 season on the injured reserved list. It’s safe to say that this is not the first impression that he wanted to make with his coaches in game action.

For the rest of us, consider it a reminder. Even on the most basic plays, anything can happen.
