The great folks in London have finally been presented with a well played and competitive football game. It took nearly a dozen and a half outings, but it happened. Unfortunately for the Washington Redskins, the stellar play did not extend into overtime.
Dustin Hopkins missed a 34-yard game-winning field goal opportunity in overtime to extend the game.
It was bad. Really bad.
The snap seemed to be fine. The hold was perfect. Hopkins just pushed the ball wide left.
One has to wonder what is going through the head of the kicker after he missed what should have been a chip-shot field goal to send the Redskins to a 5-3 record.
